Pieter is a cyber security expert with over 25 years in the field, specializing in a range of areas such as ethical hacking, cyber-threat intelligence and security awareness. Pieter was previously founder and CEO of Cybersprint, an attack surface management company, which was acquired by Darktrace in March 2022. At Darktrace, Pieter oversees product innovation at Darktrace's R&D centre in The Hague. Pieter holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Science from the University of Applied Sciences Leiden.
