Statement regarding LockBit claims

Earlier this morning we became aware of tweets from LockBit, the cyber-criminal gang, claiming that they had compromised Darktrace’s internal security systems and had accessed our data. Our security teams have run a full review of our internal systems and can see no evidence of compromise. None of the LockBit social media posts link to any compromised Darktrace data. We will continue to monitor the situation extremely closely, but based on our current investigations we are confident that our systems remain secure and all customer data is fully protected.

Darktrace, a leading autonomous cyber security AI company, today announced that it has won the prestigious IT Central Station Peer Award for 2021.

IT Central Station’s Peer Awards rank the world’s best tech products based on authentic, timely reviews from industry experts. Enterprise tech decision makers across Cybersecurity, DevOps and IT rely on IT Central Station’s in-depth product reviews and peer-driven content.

Darktrace’s Autonomous Cyber AI is a self-learning technology modeled on the human immune system, and protects over 4,500 organizations against the most sophisticated cyber-threats. IT Central Station peers commended Darktrace AI for its unique ability to intelligently and immediately respond to cyber-attacks across the digital enterprise.

“I would rate Darktrace a ten out of ten,” commented Victor Ibanez, Country Manager at Aubay México and verified reviewer at IT Central Station. “Once it detects something that is wrong inside the network, it not only does the alerting but also takes the decision to block that type of connection in order to avoid any information leak or any possibly risky connection.”
