Darktrace, the leader in Enterprise Immune System technology, has today announced that Parchment has deployed Darktrace’s unique technology for cyber defense into the heart of its network.

Based in Scottsdale, Arizona, Parchment is the most widely adopted digital credential management service, allowing learners, academic institutions, and employers to request, verify and share academic credentials in simple and secure ways. Parchment has rapidly grown its institutional member network to include college and university registrars and admission offices. Today, the active Parchment network spans 25 percent of U.S. enrollments in secondary schools and 17 percent of U.S. enrollments in postsecondary schools.

Given that Parchment’s platform safeguards the academic credential information of millions of learners, security is top priority. Parchment needed to ensure it was armed with the best tools for real-time detection and that it had complete visibility of its entire network in the face of a rapidly-evolving threat landscape.
