As the Senior Vice President of EMEA and APJ Sales, Matthew leads all sales teams driving revenue growth for Darktrace in Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia, Australia and Japan. Working across more than 100 countries, 35 languages and 13 time zones, Matthew’s ability to connect with customers, partners and employees anywhere on the globe has made him an effective and proven business leader. Matthew started his tenure with Darktrace in 2020 as the leader of UK and Ireland, then expanded to all of Europe.

Prior to Darktrace, Matthew held numerous sales leadership positions over the last 10 years, including at software provider Arkk Solutions where he ran all of Sales and Sales Operations. Prior to Arkk, Matthew rose through the ranks at Groupon, where he started as a New Business Consultant and ultimately became Sales Director. Matthew started his career as an Account Executive at NSPCC, an organization focused on fighting child abuse in the UK.

Matthew graduated from Cardiff University with a bachelor’s degree in Ancient History.
