Statement regarding LockBit claims

Earlier this morning we became aware of tweets from LockBit, the cyber-criminal gang, claiming that they had compromised Darktrace’s internal security systems and had accessed our data. Our security teams have run a full review of our internal systems and can see no evidence of compromise. None of the LockBit social media posts link to any compromised Darktrace data. We will continue to monitor the situation extremely closely, but based on our current investigations we are confident that our systems remain secure and all customer data is fully protected.

Darktrace Announces Partnership with Bechtle to Expand Access to the Darktrace ActiveAI Security PlatformTM and Develop Joint Offerings to Bechtle Customers

September 10, 2024

Darktrace, a global leader in cybersecurity AI, today announced a partnership with Bechtle, one of Europe’s leading IT providers. This collaboration will strengthen Darktrace's presence in the DACH region and provide unique AI based cybersecurity solutions to Bechtle's extensive customer base.

Bechtle, with its strong foothold in the European IT market, serves about 70,000 customers of all sizes from the industrial and public sectors. As a long-standing Microsoft partner, Bechtle has established itself as a trusted IT provider across Europe. Through this partnership, Darktrace will work closely with Bechtle's DACH partner managers to offer the state-of-the-art Darktrace ActiveAI Security Platform™ to Bechtle's customers, complementing Bechtle's existing security offerings, and helping to free security teams from the manual, time-intensive alert triage process.

"We are thrilled to partner with Bechtle, a leading IT services provider in Europe," said Dan Monahan, SVP of the Global Partner Organization at Darktrace. "This collaboration allows us to combine our unique Self-Learning AI Engine with Bechtle's extensive reach and expertise. Together, we will empower organisations to transform security operations from a focus on reactive threat detection to proactive cyber resilience."

As part of the partnership, Darktrace and Bechtle will explore opportunities to develop joint service offerings. The companies will work together to identify areas where they can expand their collaboration to deliver greater value to customers from across the Darktrace ActiveAI Security Platform.

"Partnering with Darktrace is an important move for Bechtle as we recognise the immense potential in their AI-driven cybersecurity solutions," said Florian Macher, Head of Partner Management, Security, at Bechtle Logistik & Service GmbH. "We are excited to bring Darktrace's innovative technology to our customers and help them build resilient and secure digital infrastructures."

The partnership also includes financial incentives for growth, demonstrating the commitment from both companies to drive mutual success and expand their market presence in the DACH region.

Darktrace recently introduced the Darktrace Defenders Partner Program, a reimagined partner program designed to better empower partners and accelerate adoption of the Darktrace ActiveAI Security Platform and products. The program includes new enablement, education and an improved portal for partners so they can help their customers take a more proactive approach to cyber resilience.
