Statement regarding LockBit claims
Earlier this morning we became aware of tweets from LockBit, the cyber-criminal gang, claiming that they had compromised Darktrace’s internal security systems and had accessed our data. Our security teams have run a full review of our internal systems and can see no evidence of compromise. None of the LockBit social media posts link to any compromised Darktrace data. We will continue to monitor the situation extremely closely, but based on our current investigations we are confident that our systems remain secure and all customer data is fully protected.

Darktrace Partners with Leonardo-Finmeccanica
Darktrace, the leader in Enterprise Immune System technology, today announced its partnership with Leonardo-Finmeccanica, a pioneering aerospace, defence and security company, at the Cybertech Europe event in Rome.
Headquartered in Italy and with a strong presence in the UK and the US, Leonardo employs more than 47,000 employees worldwide. Taking advantage of more than 30 years’ experience in cyber security, the company’s integrated platform cross-correlates information from network devices, industrial sensors, geospatial data, CCTV feeds, and other open source data, supporting organizations in threat management and allowing them to monitor, detect and react quickly on the basis of real-time information analysis.
The new partnership will allow Leonardo’s customers to benefit from Darktrace’s innovative Enterprise Immune System across a variety of domains, including sensitive critical infrastructure. Using unique machine learning and advanced mathematics developed by specialists from the University of Cambridge, Darktrace is able to detect subtle threats in some of the most complex digital environments across corporate networks, industrial control systems and non-traditional information systems.
“Technology is revolutionizing operations in both the private and public sectors globally, but as a consequence, organizations are becoming more vulnerable to sophisticated attacks,” said Corrado Broli, Managing Director, Darktrace, Italy. “We are proud to be collaborating with Leonardo to help defend their diverse and nationally-critical clientele. Today’s cyber-threats are increasingly intelligent and automated, hence the need for a new, self-learning approach to cyber security. The Enterprise Immune System is the only solution that takes a fundamentally new approach to detecting cyber-threats, without the need for rules of signatures.”
