Statement regarding LockBit claims
Earlier this morning we became aware of tweets from LockBit, the cyber-criminal gang, claiming that they had compromised Darktrace’s internal security systems and had accessed our data. Our security teams have run a full review of our internal systems and can see no evidence of compromise. None of the LockBit social media posts link to any compromised Darktrace data. We will continue to monitor the situation extremely closely, but based on our current investigations we are confident that our systems remain secure and all customer data is fully protected.

Darktrace Partners With Leading Cyber Consultancy Sentinel
Darktrace, the leader in Enterprise Immune System technology, has announced that it has partnered with Sentinel Technology Solutions Corp., often recognized as Sentinel, a leading global organizational consultancy and cyber security firm based in Texas.
Sentinel has a strong reputation for providing a range of best-in-class services across several industry sectors including energy, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing and medical sectors, with services that span from cyber security to operations and project management. By partnering with Darktrace, it strengthens its cyber security service platform, providing its clients and partners with cutting-edge defense technology that is capable of protecting both Industrial Control Systems (ICS), as well as corporate networks.
Critical national infrastructure providers, from energy to transportation, telecommunications to utilities, today face a constant level of threat, which puts their critical systems at risk. The challenge of today’s advanced, sophisticated threats is also compounded by open digital infrastructures, including the convergence of Operational Technology (OT) with Information Technology.
Darktrace’s unique threat detection technology is based on advanced machine learning and probabilistic mathematics, and deliverable within both enterprise networks (as the Enterprise Immune System) and within ICS or SCADA environments (as the Industrial Immune System). By automatically learning a ‘pattern of life’ for every user, device and machine within a network, Darktrace is capable of detecting subtle deviations and abnormal behaviors, and shine a light on activities that go unseen by traditional security controls.
“We are really excited to be enhancing our cyber security capabilities with Darktrace’s innovative ‘immune system’ technology,” commented Tyler Gray, SVP, Applied Technologies, Sentinel. “The ability to protect both enterprise and industrial networks in real time is unparalleled, and means that our broad customer base will benefit from state-of-the-art solutions and services, to mitigate ever changing and pervasive cyber-threats.”
